Short-eared possum, Trichosurus caninus, VT2300

Physical Description

Short-eared possum mounted on a historic wooden base in a standing on a tree branch. Tail is held down and the tip is wrapped around the section of branch behind the specimen. Legs are slightly displaced with the PR forelimb further forward. Body is held up off the branch.
