Wonder Cowrie, Cypraea armeniaca hesitata, IV10368

Physical Description

Large bulbous cowrie shell with a shiny outer surface. The ends of the mouth are significantly twisted upwards and to one side. Pattern is pale brown with slightly darker smudgy looking speckled pattern. Ventral surface is cream coloured with a pale brown area at the mouth.
