Physical Description
Thin rectangular piece of slate scored with horizontal and vertical lines on both sides. Wooden frame around edges. Two holes at top through which a string passes. Attached to string is a slate pencil. Written on the slate are the words "The quick Brown The The quick brown fox". On the frame is engraved "AMANDA PLUMB 1856" and "A I L M"
