Physical Description
Necklace. Nine parallel strings of beads, threaded on a fine brown cord, plaited at the ends and tied into a rough knot. The beads are light brown for one half of the ornament, then a pair of white china buttons divides them from the other half, which is formed of dark brown - almost black - beads. A pair of similar buttons finishes each half, & the knot comes between them.
