Physical Description
Ram Dao' or sacrificial axe. Broad, heavy blade, incurved at end, widened. Brass eye inlaid each side, brass peacock near eye, geometric zig-zag, v-shapes, circles, continuous curves and waves inlaid brass run from peacock to hilt. Steel hilt, brass mounts, brown wooden grip, notched, hemispherical brass pommel, small cylindrical knob on top. Used for beheading goats. c.f. Egerton pg. 100, pl.
