Carved wooden picture frame with painting. Painting is of a female figure in a kimono in front of a tree in blossom with a hanging lantern. Frame is very finely carved. Geometric motifs in each corner. Carved with a scene on each side. On top, men shoot at a target, watched by a man on a dais. On proper left side, men lift heavy items. On proper right a man is lifting a barbell. On the bottom a man feeds some animals. Between each scene are leaves, flowers and birds.
