Saucer, F49.243

Small saucer which is inked to Gladys Rogers. It is likely that Rogers painted this saucer as her signature (the initial "R" within a banner shape) is on the base. The saucer has a blue and yellow pattern around the inside sides while the well is grey. The outside rim is coloured with blue which fades into grey and the base of the saucer is edged with a blue boarder which has small dots at equal distances around the circumference. The base has "Mellor" handwritten on the base, indicating its origins as a part of the Mellor Collection. A makers mark is also imprinted on the base but is hard to make out.
