Physical Description

Chinese polearm - trident form. Long black painted wooden shaft. Socketed head with long four sided spear point. Head is circular in cross-section, but becomes quadrangular halfway along length. This change is demarcated by a faceted element. Attached above this are two blades which curve up towards point. These have a flatter, more ovoid cross section.
