Physical Description
Steel balance with large brass trays and 26 brass weights which vary in size. Weights are kidney shaped and have Chinese characters inscribed.
Scale is steel. From a long horizontal cross bar hand two bowls. In the centre of the cross bar is attached a vertically pivoting beam. A chain for suspension is present. Also present is a piece of dowel with short cord attached.
