Tsuba, F46.466
Physical Description
Iron tsuba - quatrefoil in shape. Decorated with vine and snail in high relief in gold, copper and shakudo? (alloy of copper and gold). Vine tendrils continue on reverse side. Pierced for kozuka and kogai (holes at sides). Central opening for tang has copper plug so tsuba could be mounted on blade smaller than the original blade.
