Physical Description

Heavy, curved, single-edged on concave side, steel blade. Very sharp. Notched hilt end, small projection in centre. Engraved Arabic characters on back rib. Green horn handle, raised ring centre, widened pommel. Gold neck, blade end. Black leather sheath, chape and locket gold filigree over silver, head of rhinoceros and elephant on locket. Ring mount centre. Two small steel knives, gold and horn hilt, in pouches. Belt, gold domes, in large pouch.
