Physical Description

Wakizashi with hilt of rayskin wrapped in black cord. Copper and gold menuki of shishi (?). Kashira with design of shishi. Fuchi decorated with peonies. Iron tsuba with decoration of crab and seagrass (?) on reverse. Scabbard of lacquered rayskin. Copper or bronze kurikata with design of waves - cord missing. Opening for kozuka. Kozuka handle present. Piece of horn let into scabbard below kozuka opening. Two silver (?) plated copper bands around lower part of scabbard. Silver (?) plated end cap. rayskin has flaked away in places. Haimon a straightish line
