Figure, F43.47

Ivory figurine in three main parts: stylised lotus throne stand, figure carved in the half-round and a back plate all pegged together. The figure is of a woman in a long, belted gown with surface decoration. Her hair is piled on top of her head in an elaborate coiffure. Only her left hand is visible which is holding a long-stemmed flower which passes behind her head and appears over her right shoulder.
