Physical Description

Ivory netsuke. In the form of a dried fish. Elongated body with large head and bulbous 'nose'. Carving on head suggestive of lion. Caudal, dorsal and ventral fins present; eyes are simple perforations. Mouth open - rows of teeth on upper and lower jaws. Perforated for attachment on one side; other side has several small holes. Unsigned.
