Physical Description
Ivory netsuke. In form of a tengu (a mythical beast, mountain spirit) on a plaque. Plaque is 5-sided, possibly a chess piece. Mask is bird-like in appearance with large beak. Inlaid metal eyes. Perforated at nostrils and back. Back is etched with a scroll with writing on it, and a feather fan? Unsigned.
