Inro, Netsuke, F2012.59

Physical Description

Four case inro, with netsuke and ojime. Inro - green lacquer, depicts a dragon in gold with red lacquer. Oblong in shape; both ends slightly convex in cross-section. Netsuke - in form of grotesque wooden mask. Pierced at eyes, nostrils and mouth. Bar across back for attachment. Ojime (bead) - wooden ball, carved with black lacquer. All joined with purple nylon/cotton cord.
