Physical Description

Japanese sword guard of oval shape. Has nakago and kozuka holes.
Relief patterning of waves below on one side and dragon; scroll on the other. Indistinct patterning on the rim.


Found in the 1950s near tide edge at Kaikai's Beach by a young boy, whose father gave it to the donor.
