Research Notes

Beads of multiple colours, dimensions, shapes, material are found over the continent of Africa. Beads/necklace/girdle of this type would not be unknown in the Ghana region amongst any/many of the peoples. Original documentation says "…collected by donor on the costal fringe of Accra, 1950s."
