Physical Description
Earrings (pair) for pierced ears. Metal earring with wire for pierced ears. Main body of earring appears to be silver(?) with wire hooks appearing to be copper. Thin rectangular sheet has two concentric circles of silver(?) wire soldered to each end (narrow side). Three concentric circles of silver(?) wire are soldered to the bottom edge (long side). Five many linked short chains are soldered to the top side (long side) of the thin rectangular sheet. A smaller thin metal rectangular sheet is soldered to the other end of each of the 5 chains. A bent copper wire - for hooking through a pierced ear - is soldered to the top side of this small sheet.

Material & design suggest they are from same area as D88.169A & B, i.e. reasonably from Maiduguri, Bornu Province, northeast Nigeria. Metal - silver(?) & copper(?). Earrings (pair) for pierced ears.
