Physical Description

Bronze and enamel. Combined incense burner and holder. In form of a lotus flower. Full flower forms burner with bronze outer petals, green enamel plate and red enamel (outside) and green (inside) half-opened petals. Fitted with bronze lid with shishi (lion) on top. Red and white enamel lotus bud forms incense holder. Hinge on top half-bud for opening. Another two green enamel leaves. All these joined with bronze stalks to handle - green enamel with 'sleeve' of turquoise enamel decorated with red and white buds at end. Other end has inverted leaf of green enamel at base (for balance).
