Physical Description

Plaster cast of lizard figure, possibly use as tauihu for waka or tekoteko for gable structure. Ruru/owl shaped eyes with nose, tongue bluntened horizontally but protruding past lips. Head sits on flat base which has an inset cut for mounting on or in something. Upper side of structure to rear of head consists of a rough carved double spiral radiating out. A raised point broken at rear of this structure.
