Physical Description
Dark grey stone, rounded oblong in cross section. No chin on bevels, bevelled on both sides. Polished all surfaces. Hafted as axe. Poll around, groove below this. Hafted onto straight handle with 2 pieces of split cane or wood around groove. Theses are shaped into the sides of the handle and bound with animal hide. Some knots in wood. Perforated at end handle, string threaded through and looped.
