Physical Description

Horse hair. Rod made in two parts. Upper very rigid and covered with woven re and black diagonal stripes of horse hair. At proximal end metal loop extends beyond cover and hide thong threaded through. This is held together near yellow sleeve and tassel. Lower rod is separated from upper. Core of hollow bamboo like wood covered with hide, stitched down length rod, with plaited loop at end. Black horse hair sleeve above. Inserted through loop is a hide strip, held together with horse hair.
