Boat-billed flycatcher, Megarhynchus pitangua, AV3048

Physical Description

Bird mounted in an awkward flying pose, with both wings slightly fanned horizontally from the body, with the PL wing held vertically so it is higher than the other. Head is lifted so beak is pointing up and turned slightly toward its PL side. Beak is slightly open. Eyes are dark yellow.
