Australasian bittern, Botaurus poiciloptilus, AV232

Physical Description

Study skin of a bittern. Body is in a straight line with the extended neck and legs, and the head is tilted so the beak is pointing straight up. Wings are folded back against its body.
Carcass is stored in a 2L glass jar with white plastic screw-top lid.
